AUDRC 未来气候未来家园设计大赛

简介

政府间气候变化专门委员会（Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change，简称IPCC）的最新报告描绘了气候变化的严峻形势，预测全球热应激将飙升。在全球范围内，高温是一个无声的杀手，它造成的死亡人数已经超过了其他任何自然灾害。令人担忧的是，与城市周边环境相比，城市热岛效应会使城市温度升高10°C，从而对健康构成重大风险。尽管如此，人们对气温升高影响城市地区、公共开放空间和住房的设计和规划仍然知之甚少。让城市社区做好“气候准备”至关重要，需要创新的城市设计和规划策略来支持城市适应措施。

我们对气候变化的评论往往是危言耸听，可能会使用煽动性语言。“灾难”、“威胁”和“紧急”等词被广泛使用。问题是，这样的评论可能会导致社会的质疑、无视、冷漠，甚至是反常的反应行为。与此同时，转型变革的一个主要障碍是缺乏能够激发公众对更可持续和适应气候的未来的想象力的设计愿景。

考虑到这一点，澳大利亚城市设计研究中心（Australian Urban Design Research Centre，简称AUDRC）和西澳大利亚大学设计学院（Uni of Western Australia School of Design）举办的最新的设计竞赛“未来气候未来之家（Future Climate Future Home）”旨在让当前的专家和下一代设计师和规划师参与气候敏感的城市设计技术，并引发创新的气候敏感城市设计解决方案。
